Dr. Coates grew up in Spruce Grove and attended the University of Alberta where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Animal Health. She completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Calgary, graduating in 2021. She has taken additional training in veterinary ultrasonography at Viticus Group in Las Vegas and offers full abdominal ultrasonography.
Heather enjoys all outdoor pursuits including backcountry camping, hiking, and cross-country skiing with her partner and two dogs.
